MIND THE FILM is an independent filmmaking practice that fosters new ideas through its digitally handcrafted films.

We work across the creative industries helping our clients and partners tell their stories and convey their messages through meaningful films.

We team up with cultural organizations, artists, universities, festivals and companies to translate into film their projects, programmes, shows, research, artworks, events and products. Thoughtful narrative, expressive cinematography and precise editing are core elements of our films.

We craft bespoke formats and deliverable series, including documentation, interviews, teasers, success stories, case studies, branded content, documentaries, digital content campaigns, product films and event films, as well as live capture, multi-cams, streamings and masterclasses.

We cover and master all production stages (pre-production, filming, interviews, narrative structure, editing, music composing and colour grading) and we follow a contemporary and highly-visual documentary approach.

Borja Alexandre
Co-founder and Director
borja@mindthefilm.co.uk

Borja acquired the habit of watching the world through the lens of a camera when he was 12, and by 25 he had founded his first production company and directed his first weekly TV programme about cinema. He became a Senior Broadcast Editor and filmmaker for over a decade, until his love for documentary story-telling inspired him to create MIND THE FILM. His life-long music composing activities and uncountable adventures in film, documentaries and new media projects have given him the ability to see any story from the perspectives of the audience, the cinematographer and the editor, which means, in practice, that he always looks for the elegant approach. He holds a Master’s Degree in Interactive Digital Services and New Media (Institut national de l’audiovisuel – Sorbonne, Paris) and BA (Hons) in Audiovisual Communications (University of Navarra, Spain).
