In our filming trip to LEV Festival 2019 we had the opportunity to make this short film about the installation Melting Memories: Engram as data sculpture, by Refik Anadol which was shown at the amazing space of Laboral's church.
Anadol's work gathers data on the neural mechanisms of cognitive control from an EEG (electroencephalogram) that measures changes in brain wave activity. These data sets constitute the building blocks for the algorithms he works with.
